Darenth Valley Radio Society is registered with the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) as a training establishment for the Foundation and Intermediate Amateur Radio Licence. Our next Foundation Course will be held on Wednesday club nights on the 14th March, 28th March, 11th April, 25th April, 9th May, 23rd May with the exam on the 13th June. The cost of the course is £45 which includes the exam fee of £25.70p. Students under 16 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. All students must provide identification on the night of the exam. 1. A current passport, photo ID driving licence or other legal document showing their name, photograph, printed name and signature. OR 2. Two current legal documents that have their printed name and signature e.g. driving licence, or credit card. 3. In the case of candidates under 16 years of age, their Candidate Practical Assessment Record (CPAR) supported by another means of identification e.g. identification by parent, school bus pass,  library card, birth certificate, letter from their educational establishment As the course applicants, have to be registered with the RSGB  prior to the course. The cut off date for applications is the 7th March 2018.
